Security Precautions

  • Use your hotel safe if one is available.
  • Lock doors and close windows when leaving your room or car.
  • At night avoid beaches and unlit areas.
  • Maintain the same level of awareness that you would at home.
  • Report any harassment to a police officer or to your hotel manager.

Water

  • Barbados' water supply is very safe and you can drink water directly from the tap. Bottled water is widely available if you prefer.
  • Remember to drink plenty of water (or other fluids) to prevent dehydration.
